- Me and Archit visited the Living Lightly exhibition at Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts, at Mallathahalli. I had noticed much of the language contained an overt praise of the pastoralist lifestyle and the belief that such lives would have been / are inherently more sustainable. In similar arguments, I wonder if the scale of humanity now is taken into account. Or the is the suggestion that these lifestyles would not have produced or allowed humanity to grow into this monstrous size. Meaning if colonisation and industrialisation had not happend then these lifestyles would have then been sustainable?

- Archit described the exhibits as animals with no agency, where do we even see animals with any agency in urban spaces? Except street dogs and birds?

Why is there no comprehensive archive of news in India? I suppose it is a business (something that Aman brought up) and news agencies need to earn revenue out of them, but is there no workaround to at the least archive title, excerpt and links? In that sense Hindutva Watch is probably the biggest archive I have come across. Although the entire collection is largely thematic and is not general. This came up while I restarted work on the Ethno Political Observer. Aman replies in conversation:
i am no expert obviously. But again, just a business no. Why would I want my news to be archived and made available when I’m going out of my way to paywall it in general. And the outlets would rather maintain the archive themselves and make it accessible upon request and/or a fee.
I discovered the Sollisai Sistahs, and went on for a few hours listening to the songs of one of their members Roja Aditya. they are incredible!
